Math Prerequisites

Students enrolled in M 305G, M 408C, M 408K, M 408N, M 408Q, and M 408R are required to complete the UT Math Assessment (UTMA) for the summer and fall 2025 semester. The due date for summer is June 4, 2025 at 11:59pm.  The due date for fall is August 18, 2025 at 11:59pm. UTMA scores obtained before April 30, 2025 are no longer valid and must be retaken.

For prerequisite information for all other math courses, please consult the Undergraduate Catalog or course schedule, or for further assistance, you can contact the Mathematics, Physics, and Astronomy Advising Center via email.

IN MOST CASES YOU NEED EITHER A MINIMUM TEST SCORE OR A PREVIOUS
COLLEGE-LEVEL COURSE TO TAKE ANY OF THESE COURSES.
